This is Emergency Nurses Week, a tribute to people throughout the country and world who work in these high impact settings. The theme, "Simply the Best!", is certainly born out here at BIDMC and at BID~Needham every day as our nurses help those in emergent need of care with sensitivity, expertise, and caring. We are celebrating with seminars, poster sessions, raffles, and -- of course -- many opportunities for food!
Many thanks to our ED nurses and to others out there elsewhere who devote their lives to helping others at intense moments of need.

An ED nurse is only as good as the rest of his/her team... with that said, equal kudos goes out to the ED Techs, Unit Coordinators, Registration and everyone else who helps to make the ED run the way it does!
