    Mark: Cute -- once, in northern Vermont, I had to stop for a cow crossing. Waited almost 30 minutes.

    Beverly: I read recently that male mallards molt and look like females for awhile - had always wondered where the males 'went.'

    Jerry: Up here on the North Shore the geese act as crossing guards while the ducks waddle to the other side. Very symbiotic.
