Lionel Messi y Diego Maradona
Enough about hospitals and medicine. Let's turn to things that really matter.
Many soccer (i.e., futbol) fans have already seen these two clips, but if you have not, you have to watch them.
It is amazing how beautifully both players use the simple dribbling tactic of "change direction" (Messi with 3 outside cuts and 2 inside cuts, Maradona with 1 outside and 1 inside cuts), although Maradona starts with a Cruyff turn or partial 360 which are not basic level techniques. There is a good drill for this type of action which can be practiced even with kids. Fantastic actions, thanks. IB
Paul, Finally you're talking about real sports, not the Red Sox. I've seen these clips before but they are well worth watching again.
ReplyDeleteIf you really like "futbol", a team sport, you'd better look at this one: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk2dKnVVumA).
ReplyDeleteInfinitely better than either Mesi's or Maradona's.
