Timely and important advice
Today's Boston Globe has timely and extremely important advice from Monique Doyle Spencer. You will not want to miss this.
First, I love our Miss Monique, and her writing, and her pithy observations. Who could ignore her provocative advice? Be it cancers or dancers, her insights incite.
There's just one bit of advice she omitted: seek a job where it's OKAY to say WOOHOO, where it's not embarrassing to say "I LOVE MY LIFE," aka "WOOHOO!"
Another approach: skip the office party. A good excuse: "I have a family commitment." Who knows, you might even decide to go home and spend time with your family.
Where were your ancestors 400 years ago? If they lived south of the 30th parallel north, but west of 90 degrees east longitude, you may dance enthusiastically. Otherwise, keep shuffling with a smile.
