I just finished this engaging and heartwarming book by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin about Mortenson's crusade to build schools -- especially for girls -- in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Here is a website describing the book and the foundation created by Mortenson.

This book had me enthralled from the get go. It gave me hope that one person really can change things in this world. I do my small part by volunteering with a smiliar non-profit organization called Your DIL. Do take a look at the website if you are interested. www.yourdil.org
