Putting his foot down
Lovely compliments about our Obstetrics staff. Click on the image to read a larger version. I have omitted the parents' names from the signature line at their request, but they said it was all right to include Michael's name and "signature."
I have two daughters. One born in 1998 (at another nearby hospital) and one born in 2001 at BIDMC. I can safely say that our experience at BIDMC was at least as good if not better. I have had nothing but good experiences at BI.
Thank you for sharing this with us Paul. What I love most about this letter is that the new family, including Michael, thank an entire care team, not just a single doctor or nurse. This is what happens when patient-centered care works! When the care team took the time to help the family transition from hospital to home...that line made me smile. Thanks again!
