Hospital visiting day for Red Sox Scholars

The current class of Red Sox Scholars came to BIDMC today for a visit to our neonatal intensive care unit and our surgical skills and simulation center. You can meet these talented students in this video and get a glimpse of their day.

When asked to name something learned today, one Red Sox Scholar replied "That even a Red Sox fan can save the life of Derek Jeter." The patient mannequin in the Simulation Lab where the scholars learned how to help a patient breath again was named "Derek Jeter." Priceless.
