There, that got your attention.
Obviously they are not all stupid.
Just the ones who ride their bicycles in the Longwood area without wearing helmets.
And especially the ones who wear dark clothes at night while riding without a helmet.
But extra especially the one who was wearing dark clothes at night while riding without a helmet, while texting.
Do you know what we call these people?
Organ donors.
From Facebook:
ReplyDeleteYou forgot the one who was wearing dark clothes at night while riding without a helmet, while texting, riding on the wrong side of the road.
Perhaps being from Harvard makes them feel invincible. :)

You forgot the ones that are wearing dark clothes at night, while riding a bicycle without required headlights and taillights, while riding without a helmet, while texting, while riding on the wrong side of the road, while running every red light and stop sign, and while wearing headphones.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Word verification: "frackine". Sounds like the latest energy extraction technique...
Well, what do you REALLY think?
ReplyDeleteThere IS a shortage of organs.....
ReplyDeleteThis is the sole downside of bikeshare programs in general and in the congested medical area in particular. More riders overall also increases the number of JPD (just plain dumb) riders.
ReplyDeleteOh, I disagree on that point. The bikeshare riders tend to be much more attentive to the rules.
ReplyDeleteHow do you know he was from Harvard or he was a resident? Just because he wore scrubs?
ReplyDeleteBecause he was wearing dark clothes at night while riding without a helmet, while texting.
ReplyDeleteDunno, Paul...other than the texting part, I've seen a lot of the "bad behavior" on bikeshare bikes - right in the LMA. Weaving in and out of traffic, no helmet, running red lights...
ReplyDeleteDisappointing, actually.
And my survey (too small sample size to be worth much) says these are overwhelmingly "he"s not "she"s riding this way.
