Our Sunday morning adult co-ed futsal season started today. Organized by the MA Futsal Association, these games are fast and fun, played on a basketball court and using a small soccer ball that is designed not to bounce. When shots are taken, though, they can be quite fast.
Our teammate, Sarah Zesch, a high school senior, blocked a line drive shot headed to the goal. Besides making the save, she got to take home this souvenir, a lasting impression of the ball:
