  1. I'm alive but I have not truly been living since the day I lost my mother to adverse events / errors in her care. Torturous is when there's no compassionate apology or no truthful conversation about what went wrong and what could be learned from it. The cruel coldness and obvious disregard for your family members life and how it effects you is unbearable and unforgettable. Sept. 4th is the anniversary of my mothers death, and this post could not of happened at a better time for me. I need and want to make a call to the number provided for help, but I get to emotional and hang up. But I will ! If I could stay focused and follow through with something I would nominate you Mr. Levy, your blog gives people like me hope again. Everything you post or write about is for the well-being of us all. It's clear what your intentions are, and there GOOD. I'm thrilled to watch your amazing journey of making a positive difference in this world of ours. :) Just a great big Thanks!!!

  2. That's so nice of you to say, Carole, but I think others on the front line really deserve much more credit!

I'm so sorry for your loss.
