Where's Wally?

I know people from outside New England will believe that I am absurd in saying this, but the resident of this bedroom is one of the luckiest and happiest children in the region. This mural was produced by Emergency Department X-Ray staff member Amanda Martin (seen above). I am pleased to note that she even included the BIDMC logo on the jumbotron, once again reiterating our presence as the Official Hospital of the Boston Red Sox and of Red Sox Nation.

Paul,

I am the mom of the lucky 8 year old who has that awesome mural of the Green Monstah in his room as well as a fellow employee at BIDMC. The mural was a surprise for my son Andrew. It was painted while we were away in Bar Harbor under the guise that the artist was dogsitting for us!!!

How colorful and vibrant! It would be neat if she could paint my son Byrd's room. How can I reach Amanda?

Mandee is great. I am one of her biggest fans. She is so talented. She will definitely be successful with her artwork someday. She keeps everyone smiling. Workers and patients that go through the Emergency department always comment on what great work she does whether it is a holiday theme or sports. Not only is Mandee artistic but a great person.

Mandee has a gift or shall I say gifts?? Not only is she gifted artistically but also with a personality that makes working in the emergency room a pleasure.

I am also an admirer of Mandee's artistic skill as well as her concern for the environment. She would love to see more recycling of cans and bottles at BIDMC. I'll bet if she painted some barrels and posters it would encourage people in this endeavor.
Also, it would probably be more cost effective to recycle these items rather than pay for them to be disposed of along with the regular trash. What do you think?
Sincerely,
Diane Lester

Mandee is the best!! She always makes the Radiology section in the EU look awesome with her drawings on the x-ray front desk partition. Each season or holiday I look forward to seeing what's there.
