Don't tell anyone, but when I was a wee lad, at a neighborhood party I overheard a neighbor telling me mum, "You're a wallaby, aren't you!" I had no idea what he meant.
A few years later I heard Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Mate and noticed this lyric, in passing:
Watch me wallaby's feed, mate, watch me wallaby's feed
they're a dangerous breed, mate, so watch me wallaby's feed
Years later I came to wonder, what DID that man mean, saying me mum was a dangerous breed??
(For those who believe in synchronicities, the Word Verification box below this comment is currently saying, and I'm not making this up, "he mating". With no space in it.) (I'm saving a screen grab in case anyone doubts me.)
The name of the song is Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport. Less mating in it than you think, I guess, the verification box not withstanding.
Tim Cahill is the best. Anyway, nice photo. I smiled. Thanks, Paul.
Tim's a good guy, and I trust he would see the humor of this, too. Just couldn't resist!
